Prof Williams and MEP recently initiated a collaboration with veteran early cinema scholar Buckey Grimm regarding the further development of his original research on early cinematographers.  The result will be a database of extant information about this crucial but under-studied group of motion picture technicians, craftspeople, and artists.  Recent Dartmouth graduate Jaden Young ’20 has been central to advancing this pilot with our colleague Mr. Grimm.
